Section 42
Pay in case of suspension

(1) If an employee is suspended in accordance with section 87, he shall receive only half of his salary during the period of suspension. But if the allegations are not proved and he is cleared, if he has received half of his salary during the period of suspension, then he will be deducted and if he has not received, he will get full salary (including if there is an increase in salary) and festival expenses. If he is found guilty, he will not get the remaining salary and allowance from the date of suspension.
(2) If an employee is suspended for any reason other than the reason mentioned in sub-section (1), he will not get salary and allowance for the period of such suspension.
